Jadore de Loarwenn "Jokke"

We were not even thinking about taking a puppy so soon. And this time it was Ivo who attended me on the newborn puppies in France at the breeder “de Loarwenn”.

But when I’ve taken a look on the website at the puppies and saw their mother Granny Smith de Loubajac “Pommes” and the father Houps de Loarwenn, I just knew he must be made for us!

So… it was not so hard to convince Ivo ;-)

When Jokke was 5 months old, be hurt his leg and it starts to grow skew. The growing plates were damaged and one side stopped growing. So after his operation a long revalidation followed. But luckely it never bothered him afterwards. He is running agility like crazy. Jokke is the perfect example of a over-excited Pyrshep. But no single pyrshep is less afraid of more social than he is. I sometimes call him my little border collie.

Altrough Jokke would be the perfect match for Yanu, we don't use him as a studdog because there is femur necrosis in his line. It's not proven it's genetic, and althrough Jokke has B grade for his hipes, we prefer to not take the risk. Femur Necrosis is very difficult to operate. Anyway, Jokke and Yanu are still best friends and love each other unconditionally <3
